    Hello,

In the documentation of Piper Pawnee you advise the following engine: Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 – 4240-620kv and a battery in 6s.
But on the site HobbyKing it is mentionned only 5s max for this motor ( 19V)
Are you sure of this solution ?

Thank you very much for your support.

I am curious about this too. I am planning to run the SK3-4240-740KV as the 620KV option is only available in the global warehouse. However, it has the same 5s limit.

Hi, all the recommended setups has been tested and the mid-flight current is measured and shown in the userguide, so you should be fine. As for the 740 KV the RPMs will be higher, so the current and produced heat will be higher as well.

I am going with a 6s configuration for my build. So far the experience has been great. My fuselage is done and I learned how to thin wall print.

I would like an extended flight time.
Have you tried larger 6s batteries ? Also have you tried a 3 blade prop ?
