    Here’s my new P-51 (almost done, still working on the control surfaces). I printed it in nGen, a bit more flexible than PLA, but can withstand a fair amount of heat without warping. I added a few bands of double thickness to stiffen things up a bit. Not really sure it’s necessary, and may remove them when I print another.

    Wonderful idea you had printing using diferent color filaments instead of printing later!
    It seems you also printed the star, brilliant!
    Where did you get the exhaust pipes?

    I just draw the star in Tinkercad, and printed it as several .05mm layers. First two layers are white, next few black. I just tacked it down to the wing with a bit of CA.
