Has anyone tried printing a corsiar with all 50% scaled parts to get a 1/12.3 scale airplane? Would it work like that? I realize it would be a little heavy due to the extra glue joints….

I have scaled down the EDGE with no real problems. You have to consider some things will scale wrong. Like thickness and so forth.
I think 50% would be a bit much, but give a part a try and see.

I did and for the most part, it worked quite well.
You will have to drill out some paths and have to cut or make some edits, but overall, it will work.

My 50% corsair flew pretty bad as it was too heavy and I put on a much stronger/bigger motor and then it was a really fast flying brick.

I would suggest printing the wings first and then decide if you think the rest will work. I think you will find that the weight to square area to be too high of a percentage.
