Nice Pascal. Quite a testament to the robustness of the 3D printed planes. A lot tougher than most people think. Nice paint job too.

This had to be some crash, never destoyed mine like this.

Cool color scheme, I really like it. What is the “tube” on the landig gear?

I flew into the sun and it was completely translucent, invisible. Then nose first into the ground. surprised it wasn’t worse actually.

I added suspension to the landing gear. Softer landings i hope? Still testing springs.

Do you have paved or grass strip for landing?

Since I only have grass field, I ended up with reinforced fuselage with 2 perimeters where the LG plugs in, took off the shoes and added 80 mm large wheels. My Edge is more like bush flying version 🙂

Until then almost all landings resulted in some kind of damage hitting some pothole.

Give us some feedback how the susp. works 😉

We have a grass landing strip. i know what you mean by pot holes. well we have clumps of grass and weeds and a wrong hit on one can do damage.

I like the clean lines on your edge. looks good.

Will report how the suspension goes after a maiden this weekend.

Luca, the Spitfire looks great. Well done.

Wanted to report that the suspension idea i did on the Edge worked a treat. First landing was hard and would have ripped the LG off but for the suspension. Lives to fly again.

Just thought I’d share my Spitfire build. No paint, just different color PLA.

Here are my two printed birds. Both fly fantastic, but the Lightning lacks a bit of power (3S setup).
