ParticipantHow about an F8 with lifting leading edge wing? If a folding wing corsair is working, I’m willing to bet this is possible as well. 😀

ParticipantAlso would love to see a rudder option as well. Even for a hand launch platform. Both of these options would make this a grade A print for sure

ParticipantI 100% concur with the above statement for the IL2, I would also love to have rudder and undercarriage if its retractable of course.

ParticipantYeah I’m not sure whats up with mine, but both went into thermal protection on the recommended setup. Otherwise it ran very well.

ParticipantLooking forward to a flight video

ParticipantMy son and I fly this with the stock setup, but finding that the 40 amp is abit anemic even for 3S, the Stearman uses the same setup, however I swapped to a larger ESC and found the performance much smoother and less prone to overheating. thats just my observations.

ParticipantMake it happen!

ParticipantI used the heated bed and covered it with a soup bowl, worked really well for me

ParticipantWell i think i may have found the answer, will know in the am when this print is closer to completion. Bumpped the retraction up to 5mm. I knew it had to do with filament grabbing on to the previous layer and pulling it. I just hope this is it and I’ll chalk it up to rookie mistake.

ParticipantI’ve been flying mine with the printed springs, as well as the Cessna on its printed nose wheel spring, and have had no issues with either plane. even on less than perfect harder landings. So far so good. I did go with regular Solutech PLA, and after about 15+ flights on both, they both handle really well. Long story short, no complaints from me.
