As far as the speed, it is fine. I an getting good prints, I have tested a few prints and the are breaking apart across all the layers. not on the layer lines.
As far as the file. yes it was a typo, my wireless keybd has a mind of it’s own sometimes. See below from the manual:

Spektrum File – If you are using Spektrum equipment and the Lemon Plus RX, the included .SPM fles will get you a long way toward finalizing your setup.

This is the file I wish you to share.

Thanks. FYI I just printed the Fuse aft left and it was only 1 gram over so I am happy about that. I have it set at .25 laver, .43 width and 100%, speed is 70. right now I am printing from my leftover spools and will give this first bird away to a club member’s kid as a winter project. I will then print the finel bird on some good pla+ filament. for mine.. I was reading about the file for the raide. the directions said it was included, but I did not see it, can you provide it for us please. I will attached the photos when done. FYI thanks for the advice (on the other post) on the wing # 4. I too had that issue. on the test piece I just used CA to fix the issue. but I will adjust the factory file as you suggest for the final print.

    Brad.

I am thinking of buy this model, but I will wait until the creator adds the mods for the rails in to the printed design. I have had other water planes (balsa), the the rails are needed. are there any planed to create a land based version also or removable landing gear? I love the design and the look, but there are times a good body of water is hard to find. But when I do pull the trigger and but this, I can at least use it as a “snow plane”……. I live in the midwest of the USA.

Thank for opening up this post.
has anyone figured out the top end of the weight? I am running a little heavy, but the prints are too good to toss. The first print the AIL 1 was 1 gram heavy and the AIL 2 was 1.5 grams over. I will be using e flite 480 or maybe a GT10 I have both in my box of spares. so I will have the power to do anything. I running a .5 nozzle I first was at a .48 width and 102% extrusion, but I dropped the setting for the wings and fuse down to 96% and a .43 width I started the fuse with the new settings and had a power issue when my wife used the vacuum to clean out her car (same power circuit), so it failed, but the outer wall size was down to .46 from .54 (the first settings), so I restarted them. I will see how they turn out.

sorry about the late response, life is life and I was busy with a different project. see the attached for the finished boat. Thanks for the modes, they work great. I also mad a rec mount and a esc mount.
I diluted some 30 min epoxy with alical and “painted the hall to waterproof it.

I tried everything, so I just modified the rudders to 2 separate parts (each) and I will just use a long M3 screw to hinge them together, I printed them (hall part on it’s side, and the Vane part with custom supports). They look and function great.
If anyone wants the files let me know.

FYI I am running a Hypercube Evolution (core XY), dual nozzle with .5 print heads, Smoothie BD and a 300 X 300 X 400 print zone.

thank you for the advice, I have already tried the Auto with the width, it would change it to .60.
I will add some z offset to see if that helps, if not then I will try the scaled down file I made. If that does not work I will ask if you can create one with more tolerance, or is there a way to make it in 2 separate parts and just use a Stainless Steel M3 or M2 screw as the hinge?

Help please, I would I’ll try the new drive shaft also, plus can you help me on the rudders. can you make them with more tolerance. I have tried everything to get them to print so I can get them to move. I just tried to use smiflied 3D and I separated the two parts so I could change the scaling. I will try to change the part that goes on the hall to Z to 99%, X to 98% and y to 98%. I will leave the rudder part along. I will let you know how it turns out. I am running a .5 nozzle, layer height is .2, and the width is .40. 96% excruction, temp 220

I think I may use a raft as the first layer seems to be part of the issue It may be too close to the bed.

FYI for a link to get the new shaft , my email is snakn1@gmail.com

thank you for trying. do you have access to the archive files from the first version of this plane as seen on the you tube videos. I know that version will fit on to my print bed. Is it possible to get those files?

    Hello 3D print Labs:
I see there is a different earlier version of this plane, can I get those plans they look like they will fit my printer just fine?
