Addon created by Patrick Le Bredonchel (ADDIMP 3D) to convert our Supermarine Spitfire Mk IX to the previous variants from the very first Mk I to the most produced Mk V.

The addon contains all the necessary to convert the Mk IX to following versions:

  • Mk I in a/b variant
  • Mk II in a/b variant
  • Mk V in a/b/c variant
  • Mk V trop. w/ Vokes filter in b/c variant
  • Mk V trop. w/ Aboukir filter in b/c variant
  • Mk V clipped wing in b/c variant

Addon created by Patrick Le Bredonchel (ADDIMP 3D) to convert our Supermarine Spitfire Mk IX to the previous variants from the very first Mk I to the most produced Mk V.

You need the Spitfire Mk IX to complete this model!

The addon contains all the necessary to convert the Mk IX to following versions:

  • Mk I in a/b variant
  • Mk II in a/b variant
  • Mk V in a/b/c variant
  • Mk V trop. w/ Vokes filter in b/c variant
  • Mk V trop. w/ Aboukir filter in b/c variant
  • Mk V clipped wing in b/c variant

The A wing used eight .303 in (7.7 mm) machine guns, the B wing had four .303 in (7.7 mm) machine guns and two 20 mm (.79 in) Hispano cannon, and the C, or universal, wing could mount either four 20 mm (.79 in) cannon or two 20 mm (.79 in) and four .303 in (7.7 mm) machine guns.

Files modified or new :

  • new cowl,
  • 3 different exhausts,
  • Motor mount
  • new horizontal stabilizer,
  • new rudder (rounded),
  • new tail wheel suspension,
  • new main wheel disc,
  • new center wing with Ø18 mm carbon tube added,
  • either wing « a » with 4 miniguns or « b » with 1 cannon & 2 miniguns and according cowls
  • new cannon for « b » wing and cannon & minigun for « c » wing

Some of these files can be used with the Mk IX variant (wing « b », « c », rudder and stabilizer)
